Minimum requirements

Big Walk releases on Aug 4, 2026 for $14.99 from developer House House and publisher Panic. It is a cooperative online walker-talker, so most players will want to verify their PC before the group session starts. The Steam store page lists the following minimum specs for Windows.

That is roughly a mid-range gaming PC from a few years ago, so most gaming desktops with a dedicated GPU should be able to hit this tier without a new build.

Notes

The biggest compatibility catch is the 64-bit requirement. Both the minimum and recommended lines state that a 64-bit processor and operating system are required, so a 32-bit Windows install will not run Big Walk at all. Check your OS architecture under System Information in Windows before buying.

Neither tier lists a storage size on Steam. Because the page does not confirm an install size, plan conservatively: keep several gigabytes of free space beyond what you expect the game to use. For a co-op adventure of this scope, an install in the range of tens of gigabytes is a reasonable planning estimate, but treat that as a guess, not a confirmed requirement.
